Republican Gov. Tate Reeves of Mississippi has been re-elected, defeating Democrat Brandon Presley.
Reeves emphasized his standing up to national liberals and Joe Biden in his victory speech, and his endorsement from former President Donald Trump, citing Presley as Biden’s chosen candidate.
“We all now know what it means in a state like Mississippi when you stand up to the national liberals, when you stand up to Joe Biden,” Reeves stated.
