According to the Pew Research Center1, 32% of adults in Idaho identify as Democrat or lean Democrat, while 49% identify as Republican or lean Republican. The remaining 19% do not lean towards either party.

This data is based on a survey conducted in 2014. 

Idaho is considered a reliably red state, as it has voted for the Republican presidential candidate in every election since 1968. 

The most liberal city in Idaho is Moscow, with 37.1% of its population being Democrat.
