According to the Ballotpedia, Idaho is a Republican-leaning state. Republicans have held the governorship since 1995 and have held both chambers of the state legislature since 1961. In the 2020 presidential election, Idaho voted for Donald Trump with 63.9% of the vote.
However, it’s worth noting that there are still a significant number of Democrats in Idaho. According to the Idaho Secretary of State, in the 2020 general election, 33.6% of registered voters in Idaho were Democrats.
